An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The role involves providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced unit, with a primary focus on ensuring patient safety and delivering compassionate care. Candidates are required to bring their Arkansas licensure on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas

• Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours (minimum 36 hours per week)

• Certifications: Current Arkansas Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), CCRN (preferred)


• Experience: 2+ years of critical care experience; candidates with zero years will not qualify


• Float Requirements: Float to stepdown and medical-surgical units may be required


• Patient Ratios: 2:1 or 3:1


• Equipment and Unit Details: 32 beds; no specific equipment listed


• Other Requirements: Successful completion of medication and math competency exam with a 90% passing score; exam may be retaken once. Employment may be contingent upon passing this exam.


• Dress Code: Scrubs in black; no open toe shoes allowed.


• Additional Information: Flu vaccination required for all travelers; exemption must be client approved. Candidates should be upbeat and driven, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
