Job Title: Outpatient Urology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years in urology outpatient and procedural License: VA state license or compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with cystoscopies, vasectomies, nurse visits, suprapubic and Foley catheter changes, bladder installations, and bladder scanning. Experience performing urodynamic tests is necessary. BSN preferred. EPIC charting experience required. Description: The outpatient urology RN will work in an ambulatory urology clinic. The role involves the execution of procedures such as cystoscopies and vasectomies. The nurse will conduct nurse visits and manage catheter changes. The position requires experience with bladder installations and scanning. Candidates should be familiar with interpreting laboratory results and conducting pain assessments. Candidates will be expected to float within their scope if needed. A natural nail policy is enforced. All candidates must undergo fingerprinting as required. Modules will be assigned during orientation and must be completed by the end of the orientation week.
