Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with 6+ years of experience in the automotive and/or conveyance industries . This role involves leading mechanical design projects from concept through production, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring timely, on-budget delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems, tooling, and equipment for production and R&D. Lead project planning, execution, and technical direction. Produce detailed designs using AutoCAD Inventor, CATIA, and MicroStation. Support installation, integration, and testing of mechanical systems. Collaborate with controls engineers, vendors, and field teams. Ensure compliance with design standards, GD&T, and industry regulations. Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders. Travel up to 25% as needed for project support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 6+ years of mechanical design experience. Proven track record in the automotive or conveyance sectors. Strong knowledge of CAD tools, GD&T, and engineering fundamentals. Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Relevant certifications or licenses a plus.
