Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for leading the development, implementation and administration of a coordinated payable support system that operates efficiently. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following: * Manages Accounts Payable. Includes, Customer Supplier Relations, and the Accounts Payable disbursement group which handles all check disbursements, 1099 and tax related matters for 3 ERP systems. * Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting; ensures accuracy and timeliness. * Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements. * Provides accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs. * Acts as a liaison between the company, government and external accountants to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes. Education: * Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance required Minimum Experience: . * 5 plus years of Accounting experience * One or more years of leadership experience. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements **_ _ * Generally Accepted Accounting Principles * 1099 Filing * ERP AP Systems * Strong consultative, analytical, researching and problem solving skills * Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills * Able to effectively work with cross functional teams and other functions across the company * Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently * Strong working experience and knowledge of internal control concepts * Experience with Financial close process * Demonstrated ability to train staff for continuous improvement * Demonstrated KPI Management experience * Strong leadership, communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills We take great care of careers.
