Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Alternating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Document patient information and care activities accurately within the facility EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Alabama
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Permanent residence located 50 or more miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Ability to float to other units as needed
