Job Description R&D Altanova, a subsidiary of Advantest America Inc., a semiconductor manufacturing company, has entry‑level openings in the semiconductor manufacturing department. No experience is required for the following position: Electrical Test Operator Responsible for all operations needed to electrically test PCBs, including Open/Short tests, TDR measurements, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Test PCBs using flying probe testers, preparing test files and TDR measurement files, and testing panels for impedance. Identify and mark faulty locations on panels for boards that fail and troubleshoot issues. Maintain accurate records of all operations and log them into the database. Follow instructions from process engineers regarding priorities and ensure equipment is in perfect working condition. Requirements Fluent English speaker and reader. High school graduate or equivalent. Computer literate and comfortable with MS Excel. Willing to lift heavy panels up to 50 lbs. Able to follow instructions. Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits. Punctual and follows company’s safety guidelines. Additional Skills Preferred Basic use of a multimeter. Knowledge of basic electronic components (resistor, capacitor, inductor). Familiarity with PCBs and basic PCB terminology.
