Opportunities are currently available for both long-term substitute and full-time positions, offering you flexibility to match your career goals. Multiple openings are available:
- One long-term substitute SLP for the full academic year
- One long-term substitute SLP, from September 2 to November 20
- One full-time SLP position
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP), or SLP-CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- New York State licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
- Ability to collaborate with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs based on IEP goals
- Provide both direct and consultative services
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and legal requirements
- Work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and parents to facilitate positive student outcomes
