Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent Printing firm in the High Point, NC area, is seeking Shipping, Receiving, and Fulfillment Specialist to join their team!

Job Summary:

• Pay: $15 an hour
• Shifts Available:
  • 1st Shift: 8a-5p or 10a-6p M-F      

The Shipping, Receiving & Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for controlling the movement of garments, products, supplies, and completed customer orders. This position ensures incoming merchandise is received accurately, matched to the correct job, counted and inspected before production, and that completed orders are properly verified, packed, labeled, shipped, or prepared for customer pickup.
This person serves as an important quality-control checkpoint between purchasing, production, and the customer.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive daily deliveries from apparel vendors, suppliers, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
• Open, count, and inspect incoming garments and merchandise.
• Match received merchandise against purchase orders, packing slips, and the corresponding customer job.
• Verify style number, garment color, size breakdown, and quantity before merchandise is released to production.
• Immediately identify and report shortages, overages, incorrect items, damaged merchandise, or vendor errors.
• Follow vendor return process and obtain return authorization numbers when necessary.
• Clearly identify and organize merchandise by order number and job name .
• Stage jobs for screen printing, embroidery, DTF, and other production departments.
• Maintain organized receiving, staging, completed-order, pickup, and shipping areas.
• Prevent garments or products from being mixed between customer orders.
• Receive completed jobs from production and verify quantities before fulfillment.
• Compare completed merchandise against the work order and approved order quantities.
• Fold, organize, bag, box, and prepare completed merchandise according to customer requirements.
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
• Ship orders using the appropriate carrier/service and record tracking information.
• Prepare completed orders for customer pickup and ensure they are clearly identified.
• Confirm shipped and picked-up orders are properly documented in the company's order-management system.
• Maintain shipping supplies including boxes, tape, labels, bags, and packing materials.
• Assist with warehouse organization and periodic inventory counts.
• Communicate immediately when a receiving or shipping issue could affect a customer's production or delivery date.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications:

1. Accuracy & Attention to Detail — Must be comfortable counting merchandise and checking styles, colors, sizes, quantities, and order information.
2. Organization & Inventory Control — Must be able to keep multiple customer orders separated, labeled, staged, and traceable.
3. Shipping/Receiving & Computer Skills 1+ years — Experience with shipping software, order-management systems, UPS/FedEx processes, purchase orders, packing slips, and basic computer entry is preferred.
