Room Attendant Start Date: May 15, 2026. End Date: October 15, 2026. About the Position Spanish Peaks Mountain Club LLC, located in Big Sky, Montana, seeks five (5) full‑time, temporary Room Attendants. The role involves cleaning and maintaining all rental properties, private member properties, clubhouse rooms, suites, and indoor common areas. Responsibilities include vacuuming floors, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms, and washing windows. The position reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping. Qualifications Three (3) months of experience at a high‑end hotel, resort, or private club. Completion of a pre‑employment background check at the employer’s expense. Ability to work on any day of the week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Willingness to travel throughout the Big Sky area; daily transportation to and between worksites is provided. Compensation Wage: $19.00 per hour, paid bi‑weekly. The position is service‑charge eligible, so the actual wage with service charge may occasionally be higher. Overtime is available at $28.50 per hour. Work Schedule Schedule: 35 hours per week. Work may vary to accommodate evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Example shifts include 6:00 am – 1:00 pm or 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. Shift hours may vary; a single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Housing Optional housing is offered on a first‑come, first‑serve basis. Cost of housing and utilities, if accepted, is $500.00 – $1,200.00 per month. The Club uses the StarRez online portal for housing. Employees must sign up for an account and make all payments via debit, credit, or ACH online. Non‑ACH transactions incur a service fee of approximately 3.5% of the transaction amount for a credit card and $7.95 for a debit card. A $250.00 refundable cleaning deposit is required and must be paid via StarRez prior to moving in. Benefits Optional benefits may be offered, including 401(k) and seasonal health plan. Associates become eligible on the first of the month following their first 30 days of employment. If voluntarily elected, employee contributions for benefits will be deducted from the paycheck. All deductions required by law will also be made. Transportation & Reimbursement If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will pay directly for or reimburse transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the contract or if dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for reasonable return transportation and subsistence costs, except when the worker is not returning due to subsequent employment elsewhere. During the first workweek, the employer will pay for inbound transportation and subsistence costs. During the last workweek, outbound transportation and subsistence costs will be reimbursed. Reimbursement will be equal to the most economical common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel, to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three quarters of the workdays in each 12‑week period of the total employment period. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided at no charge. H‑2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for visa, processing, border crossing, and other related fees, excluding passport fees.
