If you take pride in exacting measurements, safe material handling, and reliable documentation, this role is your platform to make an immediate impact.The challenge you’ll ownFrom the first coil you rig with an overhead crane to the last chart you complete, you’re the guardian of throughput and tolerance. You’ll set up and operate high‑speed stamping presses, confirm dimensions with micrometers and calipers, and keep impeccable production and inventory records—while following prints and PPE standards without compromise.Core responsibilitiesOperate high‑speed stamping equipment safely and efficientlyLoad/unload and thread coiled steel using overhead cranes in compliance with safety proceduresMeasure and verify parts with micrometers, calipers, and related gaugesMaintain multi‑chart documentation for production, inventory, and order‑specific requirementsRead/interpret dimensional part prints; hold tight specs with accuracyWear required PPE at all times: ear protection, safety glasses, approved safety glovesSupport adjacent production activities and continuously learn new processesWhat you need to succeedHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year in manufacturing and 1 year operating stamping pressesAbility to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasksForklift certification (preferred but not required)Environment & scheduleManufacturing floor with active machinery, noise, and metalworking fluidsStandard shift schedule; overtime or shift adjustments may be required by productionRewardsCompetitive Pay that recognizes your experienceMedical, Dental, Vision coverage for you and your family401(k) with Company Match to invest in your futurePaid Holidays & PTO for balance and recoveryCareer Growth & Development with training and advancement pathsTake the next stepSubmit your application at: OpportunityOverton Industries is an equal opportunity employer.
