Description

• Conduct assessments of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, developing tailored treatment approaches for each individual

• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise protocols
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in alignment with facility standards and regulations
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to promote cohesive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
