Benefits: Competitive salary Employee discounts Health insurance Paid time off The San Francisco Rejuvenation Center, a premier outpatient surgery center specializing in plastic surgery, is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technician (CST) / Materials Coordinator (MC) to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position is integral to ensuring seamless surgical care and efficient materials management, reflecting our commitment to providing exceptional patient experiences and outcomes. Primary Responsibilities Certified Surgical Technician Duties: Assist the surgical team during plastic surgery procedures under the direct supervision of the surgeon and Registered Nurse. Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and operating rooms, adhering to aseptic techniques. Demonstrate expertise in basic and advanced surgical setups specific to plastic surgery. Maintain sterile fields throughout procedures and ensure patient safety. Scrub, gown, and glove surgical team members while maintaining sterile techniques. Arrange instruments and supplies according to the specific needs of plastic surgery procedures. Materials Coordinator Duties: Oversee inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, verifying, and distributing supplies and materials. Maintain stock levels based on surgical schedules and established par levels. Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues with damaged, missing, or incorrect merchandise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, invoices, and inventory counts. Input and update physician preference cards to reflect current procedural needs. Ensure timely preventive maintenance of surgical equipment with management support. Qualifications Minimum of two years’ experience in a surgical suite, preferably in plastic surgery or a related specialty. Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology/Sterile Processing program. National Certification as a Certified Surgical Technician (CST). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
