Vascular Access experience in a pediatric hospital.
Ultrasound for PIV placement.
Ability to float to different facilities.


Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in PICC placement.
The nurse will be responsible for vascular access in pediatric patients.
The nurse will work either day or mid shifts, 5 days a week.
The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient settings.
Emergency department experience is a plus.
The candidate should be familiar with PICC and ultrasound-guided PIV procedures.
Strong skills in aseptic technique and patient education are essential.
Proficiency in charting systems is required.
Candidates should have experience with patient-diagnosed respiratory, sepsis, cardiac, and trauma cases.
The daily patient census may range between 107 and 115.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary support staff is expected.
Skills in managing various vascular access complications are a must.
The candidate should have the capability to teach and support families during procedures.
