DESIGNER - Missy Contemporary Sportswear - HYBRID

Responsibilities A fashion forward global leader, and vertical supply chain in design development, is seeking a Designer for Missy Contemporary Collection. Ability to research and identify current market trends creating concept boards, analyzing collections, performing competitive analysis and shopping. Conceptualize and present seasonal ideas and direction as it relates to Contemporary including tops, bottoms, dresses, rompers in Missy and plus. Partner and communicate daily with Cross Functional Teams (Fabric, Production, Tech Design, Merchandising). The Senior Designer is responsible for developing the line and travel working with product development teams. Design category in the context of larger assortment and cost structure. Communicate with overseas suppliers and merchandising/ production teams on developing fabric/stitches/silhouettes. Responsible for communicating all necessary information for the technical packages. Prepare concept boards for presentation meetings. Ensures timely development of line by adhering to time and action calendar. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design 5+ years of experience in apparel design, product development Extensive knowledge of knitwear garment construction, pattern making, silhouettes, colorways, sewing techniques, fabrication, trim, print design, and manufacturing Technical skill, creativity, sensibility for merchandising, and ability to sketch Strong presentation skills High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite and 3‑D Browzwear Superior organizational, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while staying detail‑oriented, meticulous, and creative #J-18808-Ljbffr Executive Profiles Inc.
