Mammography Technician

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)
Pay Rate: $2,080 –$2,570/week (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-Minute Unpaid Break)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Mammography Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive mammography experience, strong patient care skills, and the ability to perform high-quality imaging procedures while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

• Minimum 3 years of Mammography Technologist experience

• Echocardiography Certificate

• ARRT Registration Required

• Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Perform mammography imaging procedures according to physician orders and facility protocols

• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient comfort and safety

• Position patients accurately and explain procedures clearly

• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and imaging regulations

• Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately

• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of mammography equipment

• Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines
