Job Summary:

Position Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Skilled Nursing
Location: Steamboat Springs, CO 80487
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Work Schedule: Variable Day Shift - 12-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 48 Hours/Week (Candidates must be willing to work 48 hours/week)
Pay rate: 30-38$/hr.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to residents in the Skilled Nursing unit.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Perform Bath Aide duties as assigned.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and mental conditions to the nursing team.
• Assist with feeding, hydration, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Document resident care accurately using Point ClickCare (PCC) .
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality resident care.

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred.
• QMAP certification is not required for this Skilled Nursing position.
• Ability to work 48 hours per week .
• Comfortable working in a resident-centered care environment that emphasizes resident choice and independence.
• Ability to accurately document care using PointClickCare (PCC) .
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
• Must be comfortable driving in mountainous terrain and winter weather conditions .

Additional Information:

• CNA-to-Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:12-15 (varies by shift).
• Overtime: May be available but is not guaranteed , including hours beyond 48 per week.
• Scrubs: No specific color requirement.
• Work Week: Sunday through Saturday.
• Work Environment: Dogs are present in the building.
• Facility Type: Senior Living Community offering Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing services, following a resident-centered care model aligned with Eden Alternative principles.
