Role Overview We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and organized volunteer to support our editorial and journalism teams by managing the end‑to‑end publishing process on our WordPress site. You’ll ensure articles are uploaded, formatted, and presented with professionalism and consistency, helping our stories shine. Core Responsibilities Upload articles to WordPress using provided publishing logs. Format content according to editorial and brand guidelines to ensure clarity and visual appeal. Upload, place, and optimize images and media assets within articles. Assign categories, tags, authors, and metadata to maintain site organization and discoverability. Conduct quality checks to ensure proper formatting, working links, and clean layout. Collaborate with editorial and journalism teams to resolve questions or publishing issues. Manage multiple articles at once while meeting recurring publishing deadlines. Escalate technical issues to the support team when needed. Key Skills & Qualifications Basic experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows. Comfort working with images and audio files (uploading, placement, basic optimization). Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage recurring tasks.
