Speech Language Pathology Assistant Lowcountry Therapy Center, Bluffton Bluffton, SC Description Lowcountry Therapy is a family-oriented outpatient pediatric clinic with locations in both Bluffton and Port Royal, SC. We provide services in both of our Bluffton and Port Royal facilities, customized for sensory and play. We also provide services in the community including both in-home as well as private schools and daycares. Our diverse caseload offers an excellent opportunity for a variety of treatment approaches. We are looking for a full-time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our Bluffton clinic. We accept entry-level therapists, and the pay range is based on experience and productivity. Requirements An average day for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant: Participation (with Supervisor) in creating an individualized Plan of Cares, for each patient, which defines treatment rendered, frequency of treatment and measurable short- and long-term goals. Implements treatment to correct disorders of speech, language, voice, oral-pharyngeal function, and cognitive/ communication skills. Develop and dispense augmentative and alternate communication systems and provide training in their use Consultation provides consultation and educational and other advisory services to the patient, family members and caregivers.
