SKILLED PLUMBER (12-MONTH/FULL-TIME/AFFILIATED)2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR DISTRICT We are presently accepting applications for the following position.
SKILLED PLUMBER (12-MONTH/FULL-TIME/AFFILIATED) QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of a valid New Jersey Plumber license
- A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of documented, successful experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional plumbing work
- Holds a valid Black Seal Low-Pressure Boiler Operator License or obtain one within one (1) year of hire
- Certified Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certification, preferred
- Deep understanding of national, state, and local plumbing codes
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, schematics, and mechanical technical drawings
- Basic computer literacy to operate digital work-order systems, email, and material requisition databases
- Demonstrated experience in a wide variety of layout, installation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance tasks
- Previous experience working within an educational facility or public sector framework, preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines with tight time constraints.
- Possession of a valid New Jersey Driver's License for travel between district buildings
