The student wellness center is located on the campus of a no-cost education and career technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps adolescents and young adults improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. The hours at the clinic fall between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Immediate start.

Here is a list of some of the standard primary and acute care managed at the clinic:

• school physical exams, minor sports injuries, hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, sick visits

• Collaboration with Mid-Levels, center's medical staff, wellness staff and substance abuse specialists as necessary.

This is a ongoing contract role for a Locum Nurse Practitioner with The Locums Company, LLC. The Locums Nurse Practitioner will work on-site to provide physical exams and minor acute medical care to student patients ages 16-24 years. We offer excellent compensation, and professional liability insurance.

Active and unrestricted state medical license in Florida

Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing medical procedures and prescribing medications

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to work 6 hours per week (flexible)

Prior experience as a locums tenens is a plus

Valid Federal DEA license

Part-time, Contract

$65.00 per hour

6 hours per week

Day shift, No weekends
