District Manager

Description HopShops, a division of Valor Oil is looking for a District Manager. The role is responsible for maximizing the operational efficiency of all HOP Shops convenience store, ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures by Store Managers, and maintaining a safe, pleasant environment for his/her Team and Customers. The District Manager is expected to provide Leadership to his/her managers so that the store’s performance excels! The District Manager reports to the Director of Store Operations. Responsibilities Operational & Financial Leadership: Lead district-wide operations by holding Store Managers accountable for P&L performance, labor optimization, and consistent execution of SOPs to drive sales growth and profitability. Food Program Excellence: Take full ownership of the food service category, ensuring high standards for product quality, food safety compliance (ServSafe), waste control, and margin performance through hands‑on coaching and kitchen support. People Development & Succession: Recruit, mentor, and retain a high‑performing leadership team; build "bench strength" through proactive succession planning, performance evaluations, and structured training. Brand Standards & Guest Experience: Maintain "audit-ready" stores by enforcing strict standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and customer service to boost loyalty metrics and brand engagement. Compliance & Strategic Support: Ensure total adherence to regulatory requirements (tobacco, alcohol, fuel) and safety protocols while leading district-level initiatives, such as new store openings and technology rollouts.
