Overview Part Time Class A CDL Driver We’re looking for a dependable Part‑Time Class A CDL Driver to support local heavy equipment transfers between our nearby yards. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for steady, weekday hours with no long hauls—Morning, 5 hour shift Monday through Friday. Hourly range $23-$26/hr, Paid weekly Job Description WHAT YOU'LL DO: Transport heavy equipment using tractor trailer to other yards within 5-10 mile radius Load, unload, and secure freight to prevent damage during transit. Operate company vehicles and adhere to DOT safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies Perform comprehensive pre-trip, en‑route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate transport Work outside in all reasonable weather conditions Read and interpret paperwork associated with the shipping/receiving function including but not limited to bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documentation. Communicate with customers.
