- Work safely and report any unsafe conditions during rounds.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards, Pexco requirements, and company quality policies.
- Conduct routine inspections & rounds in production, fabrication, traffic, and assembly work cells to verify compliance with processes and procedures.
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections to confirm product quality and conformance to specifications.
- Support material traceability, proper documentation, and accurate record-keeping.
- Identify and report nonconformities; assist with corrective actions, root cause analysis, and verification of effectiveness.
- Segregate and control nonconforming products; ensure proper identification, labeling, and movement to MRB hold areas until disposition is made.
- Collaborate with supervisors, operators, and packers to promote quality awareness and continuous improvement.
- Maintain proper use and calibration of inspection tools and gauges.
- Oversee and support the sample room process including labeling, tracking, and storage.
- Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
- Support PPAP submissions, first article inspections as required.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of die books, ensuring drawings, specifications, and revision levels are accurate.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Prior experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with FAI, PPAP, and corrective action processes is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong presence on the production floor.
- Basic computer skills.
- Frequent walking throughout the production floor and work areas is required.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, materials, and standard PPE requirements.
