Respite Care Provider – Weekend Position
Position: Respite Care Provider
Client: 4-year-old male
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: Client’s home
Employment Type: Part-Time

Position Overview
Sakin LLC is seeking a reliable, caring, and responsible Respite Care Provider to provide respite services for a 4-year-old child in the family’s home. The provider will give the parents a break from their caregiving responsibilities while ensuring the child is safe, comfortable, and engaged in appropriate activities.

Responsibilities
Provide attentive and compassionate care to the child during scheduled respite hours.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment in the family’s home.
Supervise the child at all times and assist with age-appropriate activities.
Engage the child in appropriate play, recreational, and developmental activities.
Follow the child’s established routines and the family’s instructions.
Assist with basic daily living needs as appropriate to the child’s approved service plan.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with the child and family.
Follow Sakin LLC policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
Complete required service notes/documentation accurately and on time.
Report any concerns, incidents, or changes in the child’s condition to the appropriate Sakin LLC supervisor.
Schedule
The initial requested schedule is:

Saturday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

The family may have some flexibility with the schedule, and the provider can discuss available hours directly with the family and Sakin LLC.

Qualifications
Experience working with children is preferred.
Previous caregiving, respite, childcare, or Direct Care experience is a plus.
Must be dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional.
Must be able to pass required background checks and meet Sakin LLC/Arizona DDD provider requirements.
Must be willing to complete all required training before providing services.
Reliable transportation is preferred/required as applicable to the position.
