Because nobody is equal until everyone is equal.Job DescriptionAs part of the Data & Analytics team, you’ll own our BI strategy and serve as a strategic and operational thought partner to the executive team and business owners throughout the organization.This is a high-visibility mandate reporting directly to the VP of Finance, with the ability to shape how data and analytics operate across the company.This role is based out of our Headquarters in NYC.ResponsibilitiesBI Strategy & Infrastructure Ownership:Own the BI function end-to-end: assess current tooling and infrastructure (including our Looker implementation), identify gaps, and set the strategy and roadmap for what the organization needs going forward.Audit existing dashboards and data sources to identify consolidation opportunities and resolve data discrepancies. Work with Data Engineering to improve pipeline reliability where it affects reporting accuracy. Work with Product and Engineering teams to ensure the data required to support business objectives is collected.Set standards, documentation, and governance for how BI tools and data models are built and maintained.Visualizations & DashboardingDesign and build repeatable, self-service BI tools and dashboards.Build, optimize, and document LookML data models that support efficient, consistent analysis across the business.Insights & Predictive AnalyticsPartner with cross-functional and senior stakeholders to translate business questions into analysis and clear recommendations.Develop and maintain models that forecast business outcomes, customer behavior, and other key metrics.Monitor key business metrics and proactively surface trends, performance gaps, and opportunities.Request ManagementBuild and run an intake process for recurring and ad-hoc business requests, prioritizing by impact and setting turnaround expectations with stakeholders.Qualifications5–7 years of analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering experience, including experience leading or contributing to a BI infrastructure assessment or rebuild.Ability to translate complex data and technical trade-offs into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.Required: SQL, Looker/LookML or similar BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, etc.), and data warehouse (BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)Preferred: Python (pandas, matplotlib, etc.), predictive modeling, and statistical analysisPay Transparency: Min $140k - Max $160kAdditional InformationAs a member of the SoulCycle family, you will enjoy:Competitive salary, benefits, and perks/discounts at SoulCycleUnlimited complimentary rides at all SoulCycle locationsGrowth, leadership, and professional development opportunitiesSummaryType: Full-timeFunction: OtherExperience level: AssociateIndustry: Health, Wellness And Fitness
