DutiesHelpMajor duties include but not limited to:Reviews directives, policies, programs, enterprise-wide functional user requirements and acquisition strategies/vehicles for program related issues to determine the impact and implications in supporting information systems.Makes recommendations on implementation strategies to include sources, acquisition strategy, funding, and fielding of applicable technologies for future systems.Plans, coordinates, develops, improves and implements efficient and economical management of information systems in support of Service Line activities.Develops or provides guidance for the solution of difficult and unprecedented problems resulting from new or modified operational management information concepts and requirements.Conducts applied and supporting research for management information systems by meeting with functional specialists to determine information needs.Applies limited functional knowledge of materiel acquisition, performance indicators, logistics, production base support, budget, personnel, cost, disbursement, reimbursement, executive message systems and energy consumption in developing new and/or improved information systems.Applies extensive knowledge of changes in the state-of-the-art regarding integrated information and control systems analysis and other scientific management techniques used in the development of information systems.This is a Non-Bargaining Unit Position. This position is primarily aligned to the following NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework work roles:Cybersecurity Code 621: Software Developer. Develops, creates, maintains, and writes/codes new (or modifies existing) computer applications, software, or specialized utility programsCybersecurity Code 632: Systems Developer. Designs, develops, tests, and evaluates information systems throughout the systems development life cycle.Cybersecurity Code 422: Data Analyst. Examines data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of providing new insight.
