Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management systems.
• Lead and supervise warehouse staff, providing clear managerial communication and team leadership to optimize performance.
• Oversee the operation of material handling equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
• Maintain accurate inventory control through regular audits and utilization of warehouse management systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols during all warehouse activities, including heavy lifting and materials handling.
• Coordinate logistics activities to support distribution center operations, ensuring timely delivery and receipt of goods.

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a distribution center environment.
• Demonstrated ability to operate or oversee forklift operation and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, OSHA regulations, and lean management practices.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff, communicate effectively, and lead by example in a fast-paced setting.
