Work Schedule:

• 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm), Typical work week is Monday - Friday, however overtime/weekend work is required during extended production runs.
• 3rd Shift (11pm- 7:30am), Typical work week is Monday - Friday, however overtime/weekend work is required during extended production runs.

SUMMARY

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for the upkeep of buildings, equipment, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and be able to promptly troubleshoot to perform emergency repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10-hour OSHA
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS utilization)
• Strong knowledge in Electro-mechanical
• NFPA 70E - Arc Flash Training
• Ability to read and interpret industrial facility equipment drawings and mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Detail oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency.
• Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
• Strength and physical dexterity to perform duties and responsibilities of the job, including heavy work with periodic exposure to inclement weather, hot and humid environments.
• Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to work on-call (rotation), overtime and weekends as needed
• Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• Able to lift up to 50lbs

The Spannuth Family started baking hard and soft pretzels back in the late 1800's. The demand for our hard pretzels increased rapidly because of our "Unique" baking process. Our pretzels burst open creating bubbles and crevices that were crispy, yet crunchy, and full of flavor. As we produced this split-open pretzel we started calling them "Splits.". They were the only one of their kind.

"Shells" are another variation of a Unique Pretzel. We use our split-open baking process to remove the inside of the pretzel and create bite-size hollow pockets. What's left? The best part! The crunchy, tasty outside pretzel shell.
