The Barista serves as the face of the coffeehouse, responsible for greeting customers , taking orders, handcrafting hot and cold specialty beverages , and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and has a passion for quality hospitality. - Beverage Preparation: Grinding, extracting, and brewing high-quality espresso-based drinks, teas, cold brews, and seasonal specials while strictly following brand recipes. Advanced positions often require latte art and precise grinder calibration. - Customer Engagement: Greeting patrons warmly, taking detailed orders, answering questions about the menu, and making recommendations based on preference. - POS & Cash Handling: Operating digital point-of-sale (POS) systems, processing cash and card transactions accurately, and handling mobile or phone orders. - Food Service: Educating customers on pastry and food items, upselling specials, and prepping or serving light food like sandwiches, baked goods, and salads. - [ Maintenance & Cleanliness: Keeping the bar area, customer seating, and espresso equipment deeply sanitized and organized.
