Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You\'ll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by assignment. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying access permissions, and reporting unusual behavior or conditions. Document incidents, observations, and/or security-related concerns in a timely manner and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
