Electrical EngineerYou will be the Electrical Engineer for the Hardware Engineering team at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC). Our team delivers precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, designing, building and fielding the electrical hardware that powers missiles, sensors and other mission critical subsystems for the United States and allied militaries. What You Will Be Doing As the Electrical Engineer, you will serve as a key technical contributor on one or more defense programs, leading hardware design, troubleshooting, supplier oversight, and production support activities. Your responsibilities may include:Serving as the primary technical contact for assigned subsystems or hardware deliverables across development and production phasesProviding technical leadership and guidance to subsystem suppliers, ensuring contract requirements flow accurately and hardware meets specificationsOwning the disposition of hardware through Material Review Board Engineer (MRBE) processes and supporting production linesLeading yield investigations, failure review boards, and root-cause analyses, driving corrective actions when anomalies ariseCreating and iterating electrical schematics, PCB layouts, wiring harnesses, and interconnect designs for missile and weapon system subsystemsPerforming electrical testing, programmable logic/FPGA verification, and electromechanical packaging reviews to keep supplier deliveries on scheduleEvaluating electrical/electronic production failures, performing root-cause analysis, and recommending corrective actionsLeading weekly supplier meetings and communicating issues and status to program leadership, Lockheed Martin, and government customersProducing clear technical documentation on test failures, troubleshooting procedures, and compliance with engineering standardsAssisting with technical proposals by providing content expertise and effort estimatesMentoring early career engineers and fostering a collaborative, inclusive team cultureWhy Join Us Do you want to be part of a company culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a reality? We offer flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security.Basic QualificationsBachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited universityExperience in electrical hardware design for development and/or production phases in aerospace or a similar industryAbility to interpret and read complex electrical schematics for circuit card assemblies (CCA)Experience troubleshooting hardware like CCAs, harnesses, etcStrong hands-on skills with electrical/electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, DMMs, automated test equipment)Proven background providing production line support, root-cause analysis, and corrective actionsDesired SkillsExperience with MFC circuit card design processes and the Design Assurance processExperience with schematic capture and circuit simulation toolsExperience working technical proposalsExperience with signal integrity design tools such as HyperlynxExperience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principlesExperience with Windchill or Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) toolsExperience working failure investigation, root cause, and corrective actionExperience working with suppliers and leading suppliers during technical issue investigationExperience dispositioning and/or troubleshooting non-conforming hardware (Failure Review Board and Material Review Board)Candidate able to obtain MRBE status with appropriate training/mentoringKnowledge of or experience in obsolescence managementActive Top Secret clearancePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
