Registered Nurse – Med/Surge & Emergency Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Med/Surge and Emergency Room setting on night shifts
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Care for post-operative Spine/Ortho patients with an emphasis on Med/Surg principles
• Respond to emergency department cases and apply emergency nursing protocols as needed
• Work all assigned holidays as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license required
• Active and current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Spine/Ortho post-operative patient care experience required
• COVID vaccination required per state mandate
• Ability and willingness to work holidays — no holiday time-off requests will be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong background in Med/Surg nursing with emergency room crossover experience
• Experience working in a rural or critical access hospital environment
