Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality patient care by assisting physicians in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities Evaluate, assess, and treat patients with orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. Perform physical examinations, obtain medical histories, and develop treatment plans. Assist in orthopedic surgeries and procedures as required. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory studies. Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and preventive care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Active Physician Assistant (PA) license as required by state regulations. Current NCCPA certification required. Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred based on facility requirements. Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions, musculoskeletal assessment, and treatment. Previous orthopaedic or surgical physician assistant experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
