Verifying Official (VO)/ID Card Operator, USARC DEERS/RAPIDS - (2380) Job Title: Verifying Official (VO)/ID Card Operator, USARC DEERS/RAPIDS Summary: Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified Verifying Official (VO)/ID Card Operator to provide administrative support services to the US Army Reserve Command (USARC) G-1, necessary for processing identification issuance requests and issuing identification badges for building and system access to eligible recipients in support of the USARC Identification Card Office (ICO). Responsibilities: Provide administrative support services and effectively staff the USID Card Office during operating hours. Maintain accountability, control, verification, and issuance of USIDs and CACs for active duty military, reserve and National Guard members, retirees, family members, and other eligible recipients. Process identification issuance requests and support the Government’s issuance of identification badges in accordance with regulations and DoD policy directives. Operate the USARC’s USID Card Issuance Systems to verify information and conduct all required background checks with 100% accuracy. Perform all required USID and CAC issuance verification tasks, including researching and reviewing source documents, verifying eligibility, and reviewing entitlements per regulations, DoD policy directives, and the RAPIDS Training Guide. Ensure that all contractor staff at RAPIDS Workstations are certified as “VOs.” Protect the privacy and confidentiality of data on the RAPIDS terminal screen. Verify the identity of card recipients as required by applicable regulations before entering applicant data in RAPIDS. View and scan documents that establish benefit or ID card eligibility before entering data into DEERS or issuing ID cards. Enter DoD Sponsor and family member information, issue DoD ID cards using RAPIDS workstations, suspend privileges, and update DEERS as necessary. Process and complete DEERS/RAPIDS input and updates accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining all required information and records in the DEERS/RAPIDS system. Operate DEERS RAPIDS equipment to support CAC statistics, hiring actions, and entry of additional CAC information. Required Qualifications: High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least one year of experience in a customer service environment, preferably in an HR-related position. Ability to perform administrative tasks and procedures with discretion. Proficiency in oral and written communication; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and basic office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, and scanners. Successful completion of RAPIDS certification in accordance with PWS 1.16. Clearance: An active SECRET Security Clearance is required for all positions located at USARC G-1 (Fort Bragg, NC). All other positions require a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Tier 1 investigation and background check.
