Granite and Quartz - Measure Technician

Job Duties

Jerry's Floor Store is looking for a hands-on, dependable Measure Technician to join our granite and quartz team. This is not a sit at a desk all day job. This requires being out in the field measuring homes, working directly with installers and crews, and helping keep jobs moving from template to install. If you like being active, solving problems, working around construction, and taking pride in accurate work, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Be Doing

Measure job sites for granite and quartz countertop projects
Create production and fabricate drawings using AutoCAD
Work directly with installers, fabricators, sales staff, and customers
Move between job sites, warehouse, shop, and office throughout the day
Help keep projects on track and production running smoothly
Assist with layouts, cutouts, and production prep
Support shop and warehouse operations when needed
Help identify field issues before they become install problems
Maintain organized project files and accurate measurements
Assist with CNC programming and production support as needed
Transport crew members or materials between locations when necessary

Minimum Education Required

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Experience Required

What We're Looking For

AutoCAD experience required
Experience measuring or templating preferred
Comfortable on job sites and working around crews/tools/materials
Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of construction, kitchen & bath, or fabrication is a plus
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
