Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to labor and delivery patients including those with high-risk diagnoses such as pre-eclampsia, insulin-dependent diabetes, and antepartum complications
• Circulate in the OR for C-section procedures
• Titrate drips including oxytocin and magnesium sulfate per protocol
• Independently read and interpret fetal monitor strips using GE Corometrics EFM system
• Float to postpartum unit as needed to support staffing
• Fulfill on-call requirements of 18 hours per 6-week schedule cycle, signed up in 6-hour increments

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Colorado
• Minimum of 2 years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience
• Demonstrated ability to circulate in the OR for C-sections
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Experience titrating obstetric drips (oxytocin, magnesium sulfate)
• Ability to independently read fetal monitor strips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit
• Familiarity with AWHONN staffing and practice guidelines
• Prior experience floating to postpartum or mother-baby units
