Dental Hygienist - Gentle Dentist Smile Spa
We are looking to add Full-Time, Dental Hygienist to the team! Our reputable, established practice has been serving the area for over 20 years. We pride ourselves in a family like atmosphere we've created for both patients and employees and strive to deliver legendary customer service.
The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, team orientated and someone who loves working with patients to achieve their smile goals.
Job Duties
- Conduct patient screenings, including oral health assessments, health history review, oral cancer screenings, head and neck inspections, and vital signs
- Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
- Follow office protocols for quality assurance, infection control, emergency procedures, implants, perio programs, and preventive care
- Demonstrate proficiency in dental prophylaxis, including the use of Cavitron/Prophy Jet
- Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and fluorides
- Make impressions for study casts as needed
- Educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene, nutritional counseling, and oral care techniques
- Foster a caring and respectful environment, addressing patients’ needs and concerns
- Perform periodontal charting and document treatment
- Maintain a sterile, organized working environment and properly stock supplies and equipment
- Support overall patient care while promoting positive patient/staff rapport
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of applicable computer functions and assist with recall systems
Schedule
- Monday:9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Wednesday:9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Thursday:9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
