Labor & Delivery RN

Night shift from 18:45 to 07:00.

Assignment Details

Contract of 13 weeks; willing to be placed on-call by OB manager up to 3 times as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN.
• Must be labor-trained.
• General Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP, ATT.
• Nursing Certifications: CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, NIHSS, STABLE, ASLS, NBSTSA, APHON, CMA, CCMA, RMA, C-EFM.
• Experience with EPIC EMR.
• Certifications: NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
• Perform triage and non-stress tests (NSTs).
• Assist as the second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient-centered care.
• Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery.
• Occasionally float to medical/surgical, critical care unit, or emergency room to assist as needed.
