Job Title: Electrophysiology Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Electrophysiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid RN License Certifications: RCIS or RCES or RT(R) Must-Have: Advanced skills in scrubbing for ablations and device implants. Ability to monitor and pace ablation cases. Description: This position is in the Electrophysiology Lab. The facility features a number of beds with various patient ratios. Equipment used includes GE Innova, Medtronic Cryoconsole, and Carto Mapping. Documentation system is MacLab/Meditech. Scheduling requires 4-10 hour shifts per week. Floating support may be needed in prep/recovery areas. Call schedule is not required for electrophysiology but can be picked up in other areas if desired. Staff working in this unit will not be required to work weekends. Procedures performed include RF and Cryo ablations, device implants, Watchman, and Micra procedures. A commitment to creating a separate team from other staff is emphasized. The facility has newer procedure rooms and advanced equipment. The environment is described as friendly with supportive management. There are many outdoor activities available in the surrounding area, including golf courses, bike trails, and parks.
