On this dynamic 31-bed unit, you will deliver patient-centered care to acute and subacute stroke, TIA, neurological, and general medical/surgical patients alongside a collaborative interprofessional team. Practice within a supportive high-reliability culture dedicated to continuous improvement, clinical safety, and professional excellence.\n Requirements\n 1+ years of recent clinical experience in an acute care Med/Surg nursing setting (no first-time travelers)\n Active Kansas (KS) State License or Compact/Multi-State License (unencumbered)\n Active AHA BLS Certification\n Floating flexibility to other inpatient Med/Surg and post-surgical units as needed\n Day 1 essential clinical competencies in general medical/surgical care, acute stroke/TIA management, and Epic EHR charting (Navy Blue scrubs required)\n Preferred Qualifications\n Direct clinical experience handling post-stroke, TIA, or neuro-telemetry patient populations\n Systems knowledge and proficiency with Epic charting (test-out option available)\n Active AHA ACLS, NIHSS, or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certifications\n Level 1 Job ID #TRS---19507.
