Position Summary:
The Cart Prep is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and preparing linen carts for customer delivery while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer-specific requirements. This role plays a key part in meeting production schedules and maintaining presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and use customer documentation to determine linen types, quantities, and account-specific requirements.
• Inspect all components of incoming and outgoing carts to identify damage, foreign objects, or items that do not belong.
• Accurately record the type and quantity of linen returned in incoming carts.
• Follow established procedures, sequencing, and timing requirements to properly separate, assemble, and complete carts for each account.
• Prepare outgoing linen carts by ensuring correct counts, acceptable product quality, and a clean, organized appearance.
• Consistently meet or exceed minimum production standards and support efforts to improve productivity goals.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area and comply with all safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications:

• Availability to work weekend shifts, as operations may run seven days per week.
• Ability to follow written instructions and customer-specific documentation.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in counting and inspection tasks.

Work Environment:

• Industrial laundry or production facility.
• Exposure to noisy equipment.
