divh2Supervisor/h2pPosition Title: Supervisor/ppReports To: Rooms Division Manager/ppDepartment: Housekeeping/ppPosition Summary: Responsible for the overall supervision and direction of all aspects of the Housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of guest rooms and keeping the standards high./ppSupervision Received: Supervision is received from the Rooms Division Manager./ppEssential Functions:/pulliPrepares daily guestroom assignment for room attendants/liliAssists housekeeping and laundry staff in securing all supplies and tools necessary for the completion of their jobs. Order supplies as necessary/liliMaintains purchase order book and checkbook and completes a monthly purchase report/liliPerforms beginning and end of month inventory of all guest supplies and linen./liliPrepares daily guestroom reports and trace reports. Departure list goes to front desk/liliPrepares daily and weekly inspections of guestrooms to ensure standards are being met/liliPerforms daily walk-through of public areas to ensure standards are being met./liliPerforms hiring, training, supervision, evaluations and termination of personnel/liliMaintains a high standard of excellence throughout the hotel/liliMaintains safety awareness throughout housekeeping department/liliReports all potential safety hazards immediately/liliMaintains appearance of exterior and interior of building/liliPrepares and conducts timely and accurate performance reviews with staff/liliAssigns staff their duties, and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness/liliMaintains proper inventory levels at all times/liliEnsures that supplies and equipment are issued to staff/liliPerforms investigation of complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action/liliAssists in the scheduling of housekeeping staff/liliPerforms Laundry and Room Attendant duties as needed/liliMaintains and organizes lost and found. Ensures that all guests lost and found items are wrapped and mailed/liliEnsures effective communication between front desk and housekeeping for guest satisfaction/liliPerforms inspection of linen rooms and room attendant carts/liliPrepares work orders for any problems in guest rooms, halls, or linen room.
