Road Supervisor page is loaded## Road Supervisorlocations: Chicagotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: REQ-2026-3842SCR Medical Transportation LLC**Essential Job Functions:** • Supervision and Management: Oversee the performance and conduct of drivers and other operational staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. • Operational Oversight: Monitor daily operations, including driver schedules, route efficiency, and service quality. Address and resolve operational issues in real-time. • Safety and Compliance: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including FTA/DOT ADA requirements. • Customer Service: Address passenger complaints and concerns promptly and effectively. Promote a positive image of Pace Suburban Bus in all interactions. • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to drivers and staff. Foster a culture of continuous improvement. • Incident Management: Respond to and manage incidents and emergencies on the road. Prepare and submit detailed incident reports. • Drug & Alcohol Process: Participate in the management and enforcement of the Drug & Alcohol testing process, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. • Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with dispatchers, schedulers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations. Key Performance Indicators: • On-Time Performance (OTP): Monitor and strive to improve OTP for all routes. • Customer Satisfaction: Measure and enhance passenger satisfaction through effective issue resolution and service quality. • Safety Records: Maintain and improve safety standards, measured by the number of incidents and compliance with safety regulations. • Staff Development: Track progress in training and development initiatives for drivers and staff, ensuring continuous improvement. • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including Drug & Alcohol testing compliance. • Road Observations: Complete and submit road observations regularly to assess driver performance and ensure operational standards are met. **Qualifications:** • Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. • Skills: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong organizational and planning skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and effectively. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new software, such as Trapeze, for scheduling and dispatching. • Certification: Must have been a Pace certified driver for at least two (2) years. • Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience preferred. • **Skills:** • Proficiency in Trapeze scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Excellent organizational and planning abilities. • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Commitment to providing excellent customer service. **Education:** • Degree: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional coursework in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus. **Additional Requirements:** • Certification: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.
