Location Avera St Luke's Hospital Work Type Regular Work Shift Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range $33.50 – $48.50 per hour, depending on experience. Position Highlights Signing bonus up to $15,000, student loan repayment assistance, relocation bonus, professional growth opportunities, and a competitive starting rate of $33.50 per hour. Brief Overview Delivers nursing care by developing a nursing diagnosis, establishing nursing care objectives, defining nursing interventions, and providing comprehensive physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends. Monitors changes in conditions and re-evaluates care objectives as needed. What You Will Do Provide patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the nursing care plan with other health care team members. Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support. Develop nursing care plans by obtaining medical history, examining patients, documenting physical condition and psychological status, consulting with family, and establishing diagnosis, objectives, and interventions. Teach patients and families about condition, medications, and self‑care skills and answer questions. Evaluate patient care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes, and re‑evaluating objectives. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following infection–control policies, medication administration procedures, and controlled substance regulations. Document patient care services through charting in patient and department records. Operate patient care equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and order necessary supplies. Keep patient care supplies ready by checking stock, anticipating needs, and expediting orders. Maintain competence in nursing capabilities as outlined by leadership. Essential Qualifications Must be able to work the specified hours and perform each essential job function, including having adequate visual acuity and the ability to communicate effectively.
