Director of IT

Salary: $120,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

• We provide leadership and operational oversight for our IT environment.
• We develop, implement, and maintain our enterprise IT strategy and roadmap to support organizational goals.
• We collaborate with staff to improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and user experience.
• We monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and recommend solutions that meet business, security, and scalability needs.
• We oversee the administration, availability, performance, and protection of our networks, endpoints, and cloud-based services with our external IT provider.
• We manage user access controls, identity management, and security settings to safeguard systems and data.
• We oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and restoration processes.
• We manage mobile device services, email systems, spam filtering, antivirus, and endpoint protection tools.
• We ensure our systems remain highly available and reliable for both staff and external users.
• We establish information security policies, standards, and practices with our IT partner to protect our data and systems.
• We track cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation, patching, and incident response.
• We lead staff training and awareness efforts on cybersecurity, data protection, and acceptable technology use.
• We ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual technology requirements.
• We work with staff and consultants to identify and implement software solutions that support business processes.
• We maintain and support internal websites and platforms, including board portals, internal systems, and databases.
• We administer our Zoom enterprise collaboration and communication platforms.
• We oversee day-to-day IT support services for hardware, software, and system issues.
• We provide or coordinate training for staff on software, systems, and IT procedures.
• We ensure prompt, high-quality support and timely resolution of technical issues for internal users.
• We maintain thorough documentation for infrastructure, systems, configurations, procedures, assets, licenses, and credentials.
• We create standard operating procedures and best practices for IT operations and end users.
• We serve as the main liaison with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• We manage and monitor vendor contracts and service-level agreements.
