Insurance Customer Service Agent / Sales Representative

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time

Location: Topsham, ME

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Agent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify sales opportunities while providing exceptional support to clients.

This role combines customer service and sales responsibilities, making it perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping customers find the right insurance solutions for their needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective clients
• Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
• Process policy changes, payments, and other account-related requests
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Follow up with clients regarding policy renewals and coverage needs
• Educate customers on insurance products and coverage options
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance products
• Assist with generating new business through referrals and sales leads
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet service and sales goals

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required
• Sales experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
• Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude
• Insurance experience is a plus but not required
