Physical Therapist (PT)

The Physical Therapist provides direct rehabilitation care in physical therapy to patients based on physician referrals, adhering to all relevant laws and standards. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT) Active licensure in the applicable state Preferred: at least one year of experience; new grads are welcome CPR certification, obtained prior to or during orientation, and maintained throughout employment Key Responsibilities Implement and adjust treatment plans to meet patient goals Assess and oversee care provided by PTAs, rehab aides, and students Coordinate with patients, families, and support staff to plan care Maintain accurate documentation and utilize therapy software effectively Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate Ensure safety, confidentiality, and compliance with policies and regulations Demonstrate professionalism, good body mechanics, and excellent customer service Engage in interdisciplinary communication and teamwork Assist in emergency procedures and maintain dependable attendance Skills and qualities: Strong communication, judgment, adherence to ethical standards, and physical ability to perform job duties.
