Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in PENSACOLA, Florida. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by following individualized nursing care plans, supervising ancillary staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This role emphasizes patient safety, effective communication, and adherence to safety policies and procedures. The position provides an opportunity for professional growth and development within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS Certification prior to first shift; ACLS Certification (CIRH only) prior to first shift; PCU and step-down experience; experience with vents and critical drips; 0.0 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience.
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, develops and implements individualized care plans, and initiates discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission. Maintains accurate documentation, communicates effectively with team members, and participates in patient rehabilitation activities. Provides direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel, ensures safety in accordance with policies, and actively engages in professional development. The role requires teamwork, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
