Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role focused primarily on new business production. Agents are responsible for identifying client needs, recommending appropriate coverage, and closing new business opportunities. This role is designed to allow producers to stay focused on sales, while an internal service team supports ongoing account servicing and retention. Agents will work with both provided leads and self-generated opportunities through referrals, networking, and personal outreach. Daily responsibilities include consulting with prospects, preparing and presenting quotes, closing new business, and collaborating with internal team members and carrier partners to deliver competitive coverage solutions. Consult with individuals and businesses to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage. Prepare and present quotes using multiple carrier markets. Close new business and work toward established sales goals. Collaborate with internal service staff, underwriters, and team leads to support a smooth client experience. Maintain accurate documentation and activity within agency systems. Active Virginia insurance licenses are preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Candidates without licenses must be willing to obtain Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses within 60 days; licensing support is available for the right applicant.
