Oral Surgeon

Position Overview We are seeking an Oral Surgeon to join Michigan Maxillofacial Surgery & Implant Center, a trusted provider of comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care in Lansing and St. Johns. Operating Hours Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Benefits and Compensation Strong production track record – practice on pace to reach $2 million in 2025. $450,000 annual minimum guaranteed salary with potential for higher total compensation. Broad scope of services including wisdom teeth removal, corrective jaw surgery, TMJ treatment, facial trauma care, dental implants, bone grafting, biopsies, and anesthesia. Patient safety driven culture with state‑of‑the‑art facilities and trained staff for IV sedation and general anesthesia. Dual locations (Lansing & St. Johns) for optimal patient access. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency program. Board certification or eligibility in OMS. Valid dental license with DEA registration in the applicable jurisdiction. Responsibilities Perform complex extractions, wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and other oral surgical procedures with a high standard of care, utilizing advanced imaging and diagnostic tools for precise surgical planning. Diagnose and treat oral and maxillofacial conditions, provide sedation and anesthesia per state regulations, and educate patients on pre‑ and post‑operative care to ensure optimal outcomes and smooth recovery. Develop comprehensive treatment plans in coordination with general dentists and specialists, collaborate with referring doctors and team members, and enhance interdisciplinary care and the patient experience. Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulations while staying current with advancements in oral surgery through continuing education and professional development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
